Caption | Alabama, Cullman, Louisville and Nashville Railroad express freight train No. 71 "Silver Bullet" with locomotive J-4 No. 1839. The train ran from Cinncinnati to New Orleans, the locomotive remained on the train between Louisville, Kentucky and Birmingham, Alabama. Mikado locomotive J-4 No. 1839: Built in 1925, by the Brooks Locomotive Works of Alco. It was a standard design of the United States Railroad Administration (USRA). Behind the locomotive is a water tender with the side lettering "Silver Bullet". There are various box cars in the train, most of them still with wooden boxes. |

Der Zug verkehrte von Cinncinnati nach New Orleans, die Lok verblieb zwischen Louisville, Kentucky und Birmingham, Alabama am Zug. Mikado-Lokomotive J-4 Nr. 1839: Baujahr 1925, von den Brooks Locomotive Works der Alco. Sie war eine Standardbauart der United States Railroad Administration (USRA). Hinter der Lokomotive ein Wassertender mit der Seitenbeschriftung "Silver Bullet". Im Zug verschiedene gedeckte Güterwagen (Box Cars), die meisten noch mit Holzkasten. |
