C., built in the years 1872-1880, the 50 light shunting engines, which occasionally also ran local freight trains, were called "Terriers" and for the most part had a long life and lasted until shortly after 1960, making them the oldest engines on British Railways, at certain times some of these engines worked on the Isle of Wight |
