The three excavated material dumps with barracks camps in the mountain flank and the construction site in the valley floor are external signs of enormous processes inside the mountain. There, caverns of 39,000 m³ are being built for the Peccia power station and the surge tank, as well as 6 km of tunnels to the Sambuco reservoir. At the bottom of the valley, the equalizing reservoir is being built, from which the turbined water from the Sambuco and the water brought from the Bavona power station will be fed to the Cavergno power station. Die drei Ausbruchmaterialhalden mit Barackenlagern in der Bergflanke und die Baustelle im Talgrund sind äussere Zeichen für enorme Vorgänge im Berginnern. Dort entstehen Kavernen von 39'000 m³ für die Kraftwerkzentrale Peccia und das Wasserschloss sowie 6 km Stollen zum Sambuco-Stausee. Im Talgrund entsteht das Ausgleichsbecken, von dem das turbinierte Wasser vom Sambuco und das vom KW Bavona hergeleitete Wasser dem Kraftwerk Cavergno zugeführt wird.
