Caption Right background: Faculty building for physics and chemistry. In 1939, Swissair operated three propaganda flights (South, North and West) with the DC-3 HB-IRA to the National Exhibition. The 2nd flight took the northern route from 15.5. to 21.5.1939, from Zurich via Warsaw, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin and back to Zurich. Pilot was Flight Captain Nyffenegger, chief pilot of Swissair
Caption (German) Rechts im Hintergrund: Fakultätsgebäude für Physik und Chemie. 1939 führte die Swissair mit der DC-3 HB-IRA drei Propagandaflüge (Süd, Nord und West) zur Landesausstellung aus. Der 2. Flug führte vom 15.5. bis zum 21.5.1939 über die Nordroute, von Zürich über Warschau, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Kopenhagen, Berlin und zurück nach Zürich.
