Caption When corona observations were started in the fall of 1938, the coronagraph was set up at a provisional station at Arosa-Prätschli, 1900 m above sea level. When the work proved promising, it was immediately decided to build a definitive observatory on Tschuggen near Arosa, 2050 m above sea level. The construction was carried out in the summer of 1939
Caption (German) Als im Herbst 1938 mit den Koronabeobachtungen begonnen wurde, war der Koronagraph auf einer provisorischen Station in Arosa-Prätschli, 1900 m ü.M., aufgestellt. Als sich die Arbeit als erfolgversprechend erwies, wurde sofort der Bau eines definitiven Observatoriums auf dem Tschuggen bei Arosa, 2050 m ü. M., beschlossen. Der Bau wurde im Sommer 1939 ausgeführt
