Caption The general cargo handling facility from the early 1950s is prominent; the roof with the trolleys protrudes over Port Basin I at the right edge of the picture, enabling dry transfer from ship to rail or road (or vice versa) in all weathers in the pre-container age.
Caption (German) Prominent die Stückgut-Umschlagsanlage aus den frühen Fünfzigerjahren; das Dach mit den Laufkatzen ragt am rechten Bildrand über das Hafenbecken I, wodurch im Vor-Container-Zeitalter bei jedem Wetter trocken vom Schiff zur Bahn oder zur Strasse (oder vice-versa) umgeschlagen werden konnte
