Caption Strumpfwirkerei IWA AG on Burgauerstrasse (liquidated around 1945). Originally the building of the Hufenus embroidery factory. Long building at top left: H.W. Giger AG, originally embroidery and weaving mill, later ladies' blouse production. SBB railroad crossing was removed and replaced with underpass, which was opened in 2000. The IWA building housed the Frey & Co. chemicals company in the mid-20th century. Top right: Villa Blumenau, built at the turn of the 19th/20th century, once occupied by the owner of H.W. Giger AG, later owned by Habis Textil AG.
Caption (German) Strumpfwirkerei IWA AG an der Burgauerstrasse (liquidiert um 1945). Ursprünglich das Gebäude der Stickerei Hufenus. Langes Gebäude oben links: H.W. Giger AG, ursprünglich Stickerei- und Webereibetrieb, später Damenblusen-Produktion. SBB-Bahnübergang wurde aufgehoben und mit Unterführung ersetzt, die im Jahr 2000 eröffnet wurde. Das Gebäude der IWA beherbergte Mitte des 20. Jhts. die Firma Frey & Co., Chemikalien. Oben rechts: Villa Blumenau, erbaut um die Wende 19./20. Jht., einst bewohnt durch den Besitzer der H.W. Giger AG, später im Besitz der Habis Textil AG
