Caption | At bridge 1 (with Meili hall): MS "Titlis", completed in 1952, at bridge 2: MS "Waldstätter", built 1946-1949. Both ships can be recognized in their original state by the emphatically angular or cubic architecture. This was somewhat softened over time (especially in connection with the need to drive under the Acheregg bridges) and adapted to the spirit of the times. |
