Caption This picture is an example of why Neuchâtel, wedged between the lake and the steep Jura, had to make room for itself somewhere; the fillings of the last decades have created some "air" here for traffic and leisure and are now hardly noticeable as such.
Caption (German) Dieses Bild macht exemplarisch klar, weshalb sich Neuenburg, eingeklemmt zwischen See und steilem Jura, irgendwo Platz schaffen musste; die Aufschüttungen der letzten Jahrzehnte haben hier für Verkehr und Freizeit etwas "Luft" verschafft und sind mittlerweile kaum mehr als solche wahrzunehmen
