Caption Dübendorf - London route, over the channel off the English coast at Dungeness (top right) above the Straits of Dover (channel), right: the headland of Lydd at Dungeness above. The picture is printed in Swissair's 1938 annual report. From this the dating (1938-1939) and the photographer (A. Künzle) can be deduced or read. The photographer A. Künzle could be the pilot Alfred Künzle. It can be assumed that the picture was edited and then used as LBS_SR02-01839 for publishing purposes.
Caption (German) Strecke Dübendorf - London, über dem Kanal vor der englischen Küste bei Dungeness (oben rechts) über der Strasse von Dover (Kanal), rechts: oben die Landzunge von Lydd bei Dungeness. Das Bild ist im Geschäftsbericht 1938 der Swissair abgedruckt. Daraus lassen sich die Datierung (1938-1939) und der Fotograf (A. Künzle) ableiten bzw. ablesen. Unter dem Fotograf A. Künzle könnte sich der Pilot Alfred Künzle verbergen. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass das Bild bearbeitet wurde und dann als LBS_SR02-01839 für publizistische Zwecke verwendet worden ist
