Caption Zurich city council visits the Dornier Merkur. On 07.12.1926 Walter Mittelholzer took off from Zürichhorn with the Dornier "Merkur" CH 171 for the " First Africa traverse North-South". With the mechanic and assistant pilot Hans Hartmann and two passengers they landed in Cape Town on 26.06.1927.
Caption (German) Zürcher Stadtradt besichtigt die Dornier Merkur. Am 07.12.1926 startete Walter Mittelholzer am Zürichhorn mit dem Dornier "Merkur" CH 171 zur " Ersten Afrika-traversierung Nord-Süd". Mit dem Mechaniker und Hilfspiloten Hans Hartmann und zwei Passagieren landeten sie am 26.06.1927 in Kapstadt
