Caption Before the start at the Zürichhorn. The Junkers A 20 bore the inscription " AD ASTRA " and the CH-130 matriculation and on one side was written "Switzerland" It was, however, only a Junkers-Mittelholzer project. Taken in 1924 during test flights over or in front of the "Ad Astra" shipyard at Zürichhorn, after the landing gear there was replaced by floats. Walter Mittelholzer flew over this two-seater aircraft on behalf of Junkers Werke Dessau, together with the mechanic Ernst Bisegger, in several stages from the Zürichhorn to Teheran, taking off on 18.12.1924, landing on 02.02.1925. Mittelholzer described the adventurous flight in his book "PERSIENFLUG", Orell Füssli Verlag 1925.
Caption (German) Vor dem Start am Zürichhorn. Die Junkers A 20 trug die Aufschrift " AD ASTRA " und die CH-130 Immatrikulation und auf einer Seite stand "Switzerland" Es war aber nur ein Junkers-Mittelholzer Projekt. Aufgenommen 1924 bei Testflügen über oder vor der "Ad Astra" Werft am Zürichhorn, nachdem dort das Fahrwerk durch Schwimmer ersetzt wurde. Walter Mittelholzer überflog dieses zweiplätzige Flugzeug im Auftrag der Junkers Werke Dessau, zusammen mit dem Mechaniker Ernst Bisegger, in mehreren Etappen vom Zürichhorn nach Teheran, Start am 18.12.1924, Landung am 02.02.1925. Den abenteuerlichen Flug beschrieb Mittelholzer in seinem Buch "PERSIENFLUG", Orell Füssli Verlag 1925
