Caption View of the still almost undeveloped area between Munich-Schwabing above and Munich-Freimann below (not in the picture). The straight Landstrasse/Allee is today's Ungererstrasse, formerly Landshuter Strasse. The lower edge of the multi-unit housing estate seen on the right is approximately at the level of today's "Alte Heide" subway station. On the area on the left (sports field), the student city Freimann was built from 1961 to 1977.
Caption (German) Blick auf die noch fast unbebaute Gegend zwischen oben München-Schwabing und unten (nicht im Bild) München-Freimann. Die gerade Landstrasse/Allee ist die heutige Ungererstrasse, vormals Landshuter Strasse. Der untere Rand der rechts zu sehenden mehrzügigen Siedlung befindet sich etwa auf Höhe der heutigen U-Bahn-Station "Alte Heide". Auf dem Gelände links (Sportplatz) wurde ab 1961 bis 1977 die Studentenstadt Freimann errichtet
