Caption View to the south along the bright Eferdinger Strasse to the main station and the city center of Wels. On the lower left is the airfield site, with two hangars and a central building. The railroad area with the station in the center forms a large arc below the center. On the right above the airport, the Sacred Heart Church still in the open area. The Traun flows from right to left through the center. On the horizon left of center the Tote Gebirge at the border of Upper Austria and Styria. Notes by W. Caption (German) Blick nach Süden entlang der hellen Eferdinger Strasse zum Hauptbahnhof und zur Innenstadt von Wels. Links unten das Gelände des Flugplatzes, mit zwei Hangars und einem zentralen Gebäude. Das Bahngelände mit dem Bahnhof in der Mitte bildet einen grossen Bogen unterhalb der Mitte. Rechts über dem Flughafen die Herz-Jesu-Kirche noch im freien Gelände. Die Traun fliesst von rechts nach links durch die Mitte.
