Caption | Marble bridge on the soul path to the tombs of the last Ming emperor, his wife and concubine. The Siling Imperial Tombs (also spelled Si Ling or Si-Ling), in the southwest of the Ming Tombs area, are somewhat overshadowed by the better-known imperial tombs and are not promoted as such for tourism today (2019). The available pictures from 1900 to 1910 are mainly taken by French photographers, it seems that several monuments have been destroyed in the meantime. |
