Caption In the southeastern part of the Serengeti in today's (2021) Tanzania, in the Ngorongoro District. Left of center on the horizon: Naibartaat Hills or Twin Hills in the Matiti Plains. It is not the volcanic mountain O. mentioned by Mittelholzer, because it would be much more massive and would be hidden by the mountains west of Ngorongoro Crater. Coordinates: -2.99075, 34.9841. Caption (German) Im südöstlichen Teil der Serengeti im heutigen (2021) Tansania, im District Ngorongoro. Links der Mitte am Horizont: Naibartaat Hills oder Twin Hills in den Matiti Plains. Der von Mittelholzer genannte Vulkanberg O. ist es nicht, denn dieser wäre viel wuchtiger und würde durch die Berge westlich des Ngorongoro-Kraters verdeckt. Koordinaten: -2.99075, 34.9841.
