Caption The aircraft touched Swiss soil for the first time at 8:45 a.m. on June 27, 1951. By telegram, the commanders von Tscharner and Ernst were asked to wait a few hours in Shannon and not to fly to Zurich-Kloten until around 9 o'clock. Otherwise they would have arrived at 5 o'clock.
Caption (German) Das Flugzeug berührte am 27. Juni 1951 um 8 Uhr 45 zum erstenmal Schweizer Boden. Per Telegramm wurden die Kommandanten von Tscharner und Ernst gebeten, in Shannon einige Stunden zu warten und erst gegen 9 Uhr Zürich-Kloten anzufliegen. Sonst wären sie schon um 5 Uhr eingetroffen
