At last the heavens have shown mercy & it is to be hoped that the whole country will have a friendly early autumn after all. We have crossed the Emmenthal in a zigzag course and are now back in our vacation El Dorado, where we always like it so much. From here we intend to make a few side trips. | Caption (German) | Botschaft der Postkarte: Sehr geehrter Herr Feller! Meine erste Ferienwoche stand in einem ungünstigen Wetterzeichen u. hierl mich zu Hause fest. Endlich hat der Himmel ein Einsehen getan & es steht zu hoffen, dass dem ganzen Land doch noch ein freundlicher Frühherbst beschieden sei. Das Emmenthal haben wir im Zickzackkurs durchquert u. sitzen jetzt wieder in unserem Ferien-Eldorado, wo es uns immer so gut gefällt. Von hier aus gedenken wir einige Abstecher zu unternehmen.
