Caption | Tourist sternwheeler, Indian-looking name "Nasookin", built in 1913 by Nelson Shipyard on the shore of Kootenay Lake in British Columbia, designed for 500 daily passengers, but also still had 54 cabins, several salons and lounges, connected by ornate staircases have given the ship a touch of luxury. The First World War, the increasing railroad and road construction and then the world economic crisis brought this type of transport to a standstill in 1933. Deconstruction until 1947, demolition in 1950. postmark 23.6.1923 |
