Caption | With 180 kg of explosives, distributed over 740 boron holes, the houses Stampfenbachstrasse 109, 111 and Waltersteig 3, 5 were blown up by the company Kibag Sprengtechnik. A conventional demolition with excavator and wrecking ball would have taken 2 months. The 2 remaining demolition houses Wasserwerkstrasse 12, 14 were demolished conventionally. Later, a commercial building with apartments and offices was built on this site (Stampfenbachstrasse 109). |
Caption (German) | Mit 180 kg Sprengstoff, verteilt auf 740 Borlöcher, wurden die Häuser Stampfenbachstrasse 109, 111 und Waltersteig 3, 5 durch die Firma Kibag Sprengtechnik gesprengt. Ein konventioneller Abbruch mit Bagger und Abrissbirne hätte 2 Monate gedauert. Die 2 verbliebenen Abbruchhäuser Wasserwerkstrasse 12, 14 wurden konventionell abgebrochen. Später entstand an dieser Stelle ein Geschäftshaus mit Wohnungen und Büroräumen (Stampfenbachstrasse 109). |
