| Caption | Message of the postcard: Thank you for your cards from the beautiful Petersinsel. I tried in every way to arrange a stay in Horgen on my journey up here. However, I had to stay in several places on the way and would have needed one more day for the journey, which I did not like to take away from my parents under the circumstances at that time. However, I hope to accept your friendly invitation at the beginning or end of the vacations, in mid-August or Sept. and get to know your home. Postmark 8.7.1920. |
| Caption (German) | Botschaft der Postkarte: Vielen Dank für Ihre Karten von der schönen Petersinsel. Ich suchte es auf alle Weise einzurichten, auf meiner Reise hier hinauf einen Aufenthalt in Horgen zu machen. Doch musste ich unterwegs mich noch an mehreren Orten unbedingt aufhalten und hätte dann zur Reise einen Tag mehr gebraucht, den ich meinen Eltern unter den damaligen Umständen nicht gern wegnahm. Doch hoffe ich, zu Anfang oder Ende der Ferien, Mitte August oder Sept., Ihre freundliche Aufforderung anzunehmen und Ihr Heim kennen zu lernen. Poststempel 8.7.1920. |
