Aug. 10 has long since passed and yet we are not yet home, we will spend the time until Sept. 7 in service to our fatherland and then hopefully be free for a longer time. I would much rather be at my workbench in your factory than here; but I can't do anything about that, just wait for the time that comes to replace us. | Caption (German) | Botschaft der Postkarte: Werter Herr Feller! Der 10. Aug. ist längst vorbei u. doch sind wir noch nicht daheim, wir verbringen die Zeit bis zum 7. Sept. im Dienste für unser Vaterland u. dann nachher hoffentlich für längere Zeit frei zu sein. Wol käme ich viel lieber an meine Werkbank in Ihreer Fabrik als hier zu sein; doch hieran kann ich nichts ändern, warte halt die Zeit ab, die uns ablöst.
