Caption In November 1975, the graphic artist Afra Flepp painted the house according to her designs. The client was the house owner and druggist Fritz Steiger, who ran a store on the first floor. The city's Department for the Preservation of Historical Monuments originally issued a five-year permit, which was later extended. Thus, the painting existed for 42 years until 2017, when the building was demolished. Order: Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ)
Caption (German) Im November 1975 bemalte die Grafikerin Afra Flepp das Haus nach ihren Entwürfen. Auftraggeber war der Hausbesitzer und Drogist Fritz Steiger, der im Erdgeschoss ein Ladengeschäft betrieb. Die städtische Denkmalpflege erteilte ursprünglich eine auf fünf Jahre befristete Bewilligung, die später verlängert wurde. So bestand die Bemalung 42 Jahre lange bis zum Jahr 2017, als das Gebäude abgerissen wurde. Auftrag: Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ)
