May time is wonderful, everything is blooming & greening in lush splendor. The day before yesterday we were in Büren to order honey. In case you also want to stock up, the address is as follows: Mr. Jakob Herzog, Büren, Thurgau. The beekeeper in question now has 60 lb [pounds] of honey to give away in buckets of 5-10kg. Price per kg. 6 Fr. It is own. Postmark 9.5.1918
Caption (German) Fischergässli, Blick nach Südwesten (SW) Richtung Untere Seestrasse. Botschaft der Postkarte: L. Fs! Wie versprochen sende ich Ihnen eine Karte von Ermatingen. Die Maienzeit ist wunderbar, alles blüht & grünt in üppigster Pracht. Vorgestern waren wir in Büren um Honig zu bestellen. Im Falle Sie sich auch verproviantieren möchten, so ist die Adresse folgende: Herrn Jakob Herzog, Büren, Thurgau. Betreffender Bienenzüchter hat jetzt noch 60 lb [Pfund] Honig abzugeben in Eimern von 5-10kg. Preis per kg. 6 Fr. Es ist eigen. Poststempel 9.5.1918
