Yesterday afternoon we left Teufen in beautiful weather, but this night a strong thunderstorm broke out up there; we wanted to go up to the Säntis today, but this fell through. Tonight we will probably return to Teufen. Your Lydia sends you her warmest greetings. Everything around is cloudy and foggy, but yesterday we had a fine view. Postmark 18.7.1924 |
| Caption (German) | Botschaft der Postkarte: Lieber Götti! Wir befinden uns hier auf dem Schäfler wo’s wunderbar ist! Gestern Nahcmittag gingen wir bei schönstem Wetter von Teufen weg, aber diese Nacht brach da oben ein starkes Gewitter los; wir wollten heute noch auf den Säntis hinauf, aber dies ist in’s Wasser gefallen. Heute Abend werden wir wohl wieder nach Teufen zurückkehren. Die herzlichsten Grüsse ssendet Dir Deine Lydia Ringsum ist alles bewölkt u.enebelt, aber gestern hatten wir eine feine Aussicht.
