Caption Message of the postcard: My dear ? - Now I have landed up here, where my relatives have rented a chalet for half a year. Hansli, the maid and me. I will come to Hirslanden for the birth of my son, and afterwards I hope to be able to go home to our Wöhnigli. My Seppli is in Brieg and was also seriously ill in Thusis Hospital, where I visited him two weeks ago. Thank God he is better now. Postmark 12.10.1939
Caption (German) Botschaft der Postkarte: Meine Lieben ? - Nun bin ich hier oben gelandet, wo meine Verwandten für ein halbes Jahr ein Chalet gemietet haben. Hansli, das Zimmermädchen und ich. Zur Geburt meines Sohnes komme ich nach Hirslanden, nachher kann ich hoffentlich einmal heim in unser Wöhnigli. Mein Seppli ist im Brieg und war dazu noch schwer krank im Spital Thusis, wo ich ihn vor zwei Wochen besuchte. Jetzt geht es ihm Gott sei dank besser. Poststempel 12.10.1939
