Caption Uetliberghang, below the houses Gratweg No. 12-16 of the former "sister houses". Other colleagues are helping to fight the fire. Two boys had set fire to dry grass with a match on Wednesday afternoon on the Uetliberg. The fire spread quickly in the dry forest. After the boys had recognized that they could not extinguish the fire any longer they struck alarm in the house of the forest administration. Afterwards, together with forest workers, they took part in the extinguishing action. The fire watch (professional fire department) and 33 men of the Albisrieden compulsory fire department laid a total of 3 hose lines. The city police supported the fire department with one of their water cannons, it was used as a water transport vehicle from the Uetliberg railway station to the fire truck. (Sister houses: From 1890-1946, they served the Neumünster Hospital, today the Zollikerberg Hospital, as a vacation station for the deaconesses).
Caption (German) Uetliberghang, unterhalb der Häuser Gratweg Nr. 12-16 der ehemaligen "Schwesterhäuser". Weitere Kollegen helfen bei der Brandbekämpfung mit. Zwei Knaben hatten am Mittwochnachmittag am Uetliberg mit einem Streichholz dürres Gras in Brand gesetzt. Das Feuer breitete sich im trockenen Wald schnell aus. Nachdem die Knaben erkannt hatten, dass sie das Feuer nicht mehr Löschen konnten schlugen sie im Haus der Forstverwaltung Alarm. Nachher betätigten sie sich zusammen mit Forstarbeitern an der Löschaktion. Die Brandwache (Berufsfeuerwehr) und 33 Mann der Pflichtfeuerwehr Albisrieden legten insgesamt 3 Schlauchleitungen. Die Stadtpolizei unterstützte die Feuerwehr mit einem ihrer Wasserwerfer, er wurde als Wassertransportfahrzeug von der Uetlibergbahnstation zum Löschfahrzeug eingesetzt. (Schwesterhäuser: Sie dienten von 1890-1946 dem Krankenhaus Neumünster, heute Spital Zollikerberg, als Ferienstation für die Diakonissinnen)
