Caption Left: the Wild RC8 camera rotatably mounted on a plate, pictures are taken through an opening in the aircraft floor, black and white aerial films of 23 cm width and up to 100 m length were used. Top left: control unit; right: navigation telescope opens the view vertically downwards and allows to follow and control the flight line by means of elements marked on the map (houses, road crossings, forest corners, etc.). Caption (German) Links: die drehbar auf einer Platte gelagerte Kamera Wild RC8, Aufnahmen werden durch eine Öffnung im Flugzeugboden gemacht, verwendet wurden schwarz/weisse Fliegerfilme von 23 cm Breite und bis zu 100 m Länge. Links oben: Steuerungseinheit; rechts: Navigationsfernrohr öffnet den Blick senkrecht nach unten und erlaubt die Fluglinie anhand von auf der Karte eingezeichneten Elemente (Häuser, Strassenkreuzungen, Waldecken usw.) zu verfolgen und zu kontrollieren.
